Delete your account

International Missionary Society — IMS Daily

You can permanently delete your IMS Daily account and everything tied to it at any time. You do not need to contact us first — the app does it for you.

Delete from inside the app

Open IMS Daily and go to the Profile tab.
Scroll to the Account section and tap Delete account.
Confirm twice when prompted. Once you confirm, your account is deleted right away and you are signed out.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes your account and all data stored under it on our servers:

Your notes, highlights, and bookmarks
Your reading progress
Your Ask AI conversation history
Your account record and sign-in identity

This action cannot be undone. The same email address is free to sign up again afterwards — a new sign-up simply starts a fresh, empty account.

Data that stays on your device

The app is offline-first, so a copy of your notes, highlights, and bookmarks also lives in a local database on your phone. Deleting your account clears that local copy as part of the same step. If you only sign out (without deleting), the local copy remains on that device until you delete the app.

Prefer to delete by email?

If you cannot reach the in-app option, email privacy@imsdaily.com from the email address tied to your account and we will delete it for you within a few business days.
